Anybody go biking while on a cruise? I am going to spend some time in Miami (to watch the Hawkeyes beat USC in the Orange Bowl). While we are down there, we are taking a 3 day cruise to the bahamas. Should be a good time, but is there any biking?
I am taking my shoes for the spinning classes on the ship, but I would love to get some miles in at sea level.

Iowa. If you spend a couple hours on Eleuthera Island(one of my favorite of the Bahamas) I sure would want to see it by bike.. Only other means is by renting a taxi.. It is a long, narrow island and really beautiful.. Towns look like they came from old New England. Don't miss Eleuthera if you go there..
Bike really would be perfect way to see the island, if time permits.. Can you unload your bike from the boat to the island.?
Favorite towns are in the north- Dunmore Town- I think it was called.. Another great means of exercise in the Bahamas is strap on a pair of fins/ snorkle and just go.. Water is incredible..

Hey, Iowa...
How long you gonna be down here?
There's a club ride on 1/1 in the morning, maybe you'd be interested in spinning with the group...
PM me if you have any interest in riding while you are down in SFla...
