I have a nice city fixed bike and do not want to track race, I thought this would be a good deal to flip later, maybe in a year or two. deal or no deal? thanks...

I would not buy it with the thought to "flip it in a year or 2"
While MSRP is $1300, they are known to be blown out at year end.
There was also just a bunch of NOS which showed up at Chucksbikes for $650..

There also are a bunch of this price range(FTP, Bianchi Pista Concept) that are showing up on CL and eBay at well under retail.

It's not a house. It's a bike.

what ZappCatt said.
it's not a good investment.

(also, if you're thinking of bikes as investments, it's not a good way to go. appreciation is low, and they take up a lot of space).

also, they're meant to be ridden, which usually depreciates them.

"modern" bikes aren't an ivestment. they depreciate while just sitting there.

now a 53cm masi frame, now that has investment potential.

thanks...I would love to get it to ride but the hassle of selling my current bike then making the fuji street ready is too much. If they don't appreciate as a rule I'll pass.
the bike was strapped to the rack in the store to hold it down I guess!

No, I prefer to stare at my investments displayed as wall art.

If you're looking at a fuji track pro as art, you've got a whole other set of problems...

It would make a cool mobile in the hallway.
