so, i know we talked about this a bit, but it's now just about a month away, so i wanted to see if folks were still interested...

PNC's court date for the, erm, MnG infraction is the first weekend in June. We were thinking it could be fun to have another pirate road trip to Chicago, complete with reenactments of all but the arrestable offenses.

I can house some pirates - prolly up to 6.

Chicago, y'all interested? Pirates vs. Orphans?

PNC, what're the details for the court appearance? Can we show up with streamers?

The skinny is that it is now 6 months since my invite to stay w the Metra folks. Metra folks miss me and want me to come back for breakfast on Tues 6/6/06.

The other idea is to stick around and ride a weekend of centuries in neighboring states.

Another idea is to let the fkn laywers take care of it and blow the court date.
Then show up and party, ride...drink....ride down McCormick place ..... yada yada

it'll be the weekend after i move out there, so i'll have my stuff unpacked and i'll be lonely and miss my friends... so it would rock if y'all showed up.

logistically, it would be ideal if you just filled your car with people and bikes, PNC. 4? 5? you can do the borrow-the-tray-for-the-roof-rack bit. who can make it aside from you?

There is a guy on CL selling Boa mounts for $25@ all I need are 2 more and I can pack 5 bikes on the roof. If I barrow a Saris 3 pack from an old friend, the options are endless. But we are looking at almost the whole week off work. I can, but others???

if we could make it the 2nd through the 6th, i could do it.

i would enjoy riding bikes and stuff, especially if it involves a reason to hit that secret CTA stretch, minus the getting arrested part.
