Hi all,
I have recently built up a track bike with a sugino adjustable bb and I have found that there is a few millimeters of knocking and wobble in the cranks. So I've done some searches and tightened up the adjustable side/lock ring to reduce any play in the cranks, but in order to eliminate the knocking, I have to tighten the adjustable cup much tighter than I would like; almost as tight as it will go.
Is there any way to avoid tightening the cup so much? I need to eliminate the knocking, but don't want to do that at the expence of friction in the bearings.
Thanks,
Chad
