Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and to cycling. I found this forum through an exhausting google search about hitching trailers to folding bikes. I have a pretty much no-name brand folding bike (Easy Cruiser) . I've attached a picture of it. It doesn't have a triangle for a trailer hitch to attach to. The wheel is not a quick release. The diameter of the axle is 10 mm. I want to attach a Burley Bee trailer to it---is all hope lost since their alternative hitches are 9.5mm and 10.5mm? I apologize if this is a silly question, I just didn't know if anyone knew of a trick to make this work out somehow. I would really appreciate any light anyone can shed on this for me. Thanks!

The 10.5mm hitch should work (the bolt on model). 0.5mm is not much; you shouldn't need a washer.
The only other (minor) issue is that on a 20" wheel, the trailer slightly tips down.
spambait11, thanks so much for answering so fast with some good news! Also, thanks for the heads up on the tilting issue. We pretty much have to use a 20" because we have extremely limited space to store--the bike must fit in the trunk of my honda civic and leave room for groceries (we have an extremely small apartment). I'm so glad you brought it to my attention though and I'll keep an eye on it. I had contacted Burley with the 10mm situation and they pretty much said "Bummer!" when I told them 10mm. I'm guessing that it's because they have to really go by the book to ensure their products are used exactly how they were intended. Thanks again for the great advice!
Hm. I may have written too soon.
I forgot about the method the Burley's nutted hitch attaches. They're right: it will be too loose when you attach it because you can't use a teflon nut to help hold the threads.
However, all is not lost. Use this hitch instead - it works with Burley heads (I know this from experience) and is cheaper too!

I'm so glad I found this forum--I really did think all was lost. I followed the link you suggested. I'll most likely call them on Monday because I wasn't able to purchase the hitch without it being part of some trailer package. I got the Burley on Ebay so I can't return it---the Wike trailer would have been less of a headache in the end. Thank you so much!
