Hello to all from a Wisconsinite who is new to this forum. So far I have been impressed with both the content and the 'friendliness' of this forum.

Wisconsin is a bit cool for biking right now, at least for me. I am a somewhat fair weather biker, mostly road, riding an old Panasonic with Ultegra 600. Does an OK job (1100 mi this year), but sort of looking to upgrade. Maybe nice trek or lower-end litespeed....depends what I can find.

Also do a bit of off-road on a trek 930, but it is more convenient to just ride out the driveway on pavement than to pack up to a trail.

I got thrust back into biking after I was training for a marathon this spring & ended up with a stress fracture - but biking did not bother it. Anyway, back to the wind trainer for now. Gotta keep in shape for spring - whenever that may come!

Seasons greetings & Holiday Cheer!
