Without looking at the compnents I recall the Demo being better.

Demo is more designed for it. The stinky is more fr. But both would work.

What about the Stab delux? I know that the demo is a freaking awesome bike but how does the stab compare to it?

The Demo holds speed better over brake rut's into corners. I also prefer the angles on the Demo 8 (i'm comparing 05 Demo 8 with Fox 40's to an 06 Stab Supreme with Fox 40's)

Not to mention it will probably cost you less to get a stab than a Demo due to Specialized's price raising for this year.
