I have a creaking problem and I am pretty sure but not 100% positive it is the cable housing (shimano sis cables). They started creaking bad a few weeks ago anytime I turned the bars so I shot some tri-flow in where the ferrell goes into the cable boss and that worked good they where quiet until yesterday. Now I hear a creaking but only when I am putting pressure on the bars and turning I tried the tri-flow again to put off changing out the cables and housing for a little more time but that did not work this time.
It is driving me nuts and my LBS needs to order me the shimano housing and cable or I have to use there house brand so now I am stuck with this noise for a week .
Does anybody know any tricks I can do to quiet it down until my new cables and housing come in and hopefully that fixes it and it is not some other noise I am going to spend untold amounts of time tracing down
