You can get a used Sakae here for $10. He will probably charge $5 shipping so $15 to your door

I have an old Giant MTB that has that size. And I thought that 27.4 was strange. You can find some Kalloy versions on ebay. When you do the search type in "26.2 seatpost" Good luck.

Where in Michigan are you? I can think of a few bike shops in SE Mich that would have it, and one more in the Lansing area.
When I was looking for 26.0mm seatposts last week pretty much everybody said they could order one within a week, so odd sizes can't be hard to get. (one store had it in stock -- they got the money)

Any LBS can order a perfectly adequate Kalloy from the QBP catalog.
