I am looking for a source of cyclocross chainring guards/rock rings/bash guards in black. These are basically chainrings without teeth that serve a couple of purposes - protect the teeth on the large chainring when mountainbiking and help prevent the chain jumping off the outside of the chainring. Harris Cyclery has them in silver, but I would like black.

Rainman,

I seem to recall that Excel had them.
Link here (http://www.excelsports.com/main.asp?page=1)
check in their Cross and single speed area.
There is a shop in Velonews that is exclusively
cross. I'll get the name/link when I get home and
post it.
