Hey yannis
I am in the same boat as you. Got some for x-mas, and trying to instal them now. Did you have any problems with the screws for your rotors? ANd you gotten your grips off your bike yet?

unfortunately i am away from my bike as i am in Greece now and the bike is in the UK. I am mostly concerned about the braided hoses installment.

The easiest way to get grips off other then cutting. If you have acces to an air compressor then put a nozle on it, place the tip of the nozel under the inner edge of the grip. It will inflate them like a balloon and they will just slide off.

The Mini's are great. Before you complain though let me point out, they squeel like a stuck pig with the original pads. Hope uses 2 types of pads and one squeels and the other does it too just a little quieter. I would recomend getting some EBC Green pads for them. If you ride alot in mud then get the gold instead.
Also, since they are an "open" style brake system, do not pull the lever when the bike is upside down. That will cause air to enter the system and you probably wont realize it until you hit a fast dh section.

Hey,
Just took the minis out on the trail for the first time in about 3.5" of snow and they were great. I had about 45 mins of waiting before hitting the trail in the parking lot so i had some time to get them bedded in. They squealed a little here in there but they were quiet for the rest of the ride. Also i cant forget to mention that they do a great job of stopping and the modulation is better than my cousins XT's which when they squealed they squealed like you said Dirtbikedude
but i'm not disapointed with them at all!

Minis are great. I put them on my wifes bike and I was so impresed with them I put some M4's on my bike. Hope, in my opinion, makes the best brake out there. Light, the best modulation and the best looking.
Enjoy the new stoppers.
