Does anyone know of any training software other than Motion Based for the Garmin 305 edge. I am using the TC software that came with the unit and I'm not real impressed by motion based. The software would either have to accept .hst files or take downloads directly from the unit.
Would appreciate any assistance or suggestions...

Check out SportsTracks (http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/index.html)... free and integrates USGS maps. Next to a free Motionbased.com account, I use this software based on a recommendation for an offline GPS training log. Cadence is coming soon it says...
Also coming soon is Edge 305 compatibility with CyclingPeaks (http://www.cyclingpeakssoftware.com/garmin/)

Has anyone used either of these software packages. If so...how do they compare to the motion based product for the edge?
Any insight appreciated.

Since getting the Edge 305, I found the software that came with the unit to be a bit lacking. MotionBased was better, but it seemed to be a bit of a pain to go through the upload process (and it still didn't offer some of the data smoothing options I was seeking). So, I started poking around to see what I could come up with. After a bit of tinkering, I've got an app that can read in the data and construct a number of graphs for post ride analysis.

The question I have at this point is whether or not anyone else would be interested in such an application, and if yes, what features should it include to fill the gaps in Training Center, Motion Based and the other products that already exist.
Cheers -

Would you be willing to share your program? I have been using screen captures to attempt what you show in your examples. I would love to try your software and give you feedback on type of output desired and usability.

...is a nice application that allows for scheduling of workouts as well as downloading information from your device (Edge forthcoming). I'll let everyone know when it's available (no, I don't work for them).
