I will be in Santa Monica next month. I have one free afternoon. I'm renting a bike at the beach. I won't have a car.

Which trails can I ride to? What do you recommend?

Theres a website called Trail.com. It's pretty useful. What I don't like about it is they charge you to get more info on trails. Kinda sucks.

What type of bike will you be renting? There are some good trails with in riding distance but some of the rentals would not be bikes I would want to try and ride up the hills.
