Road Cycling - The Goodwill Univega got a $200 trade in value...

The lbs that takes many trade ins on vintage bikes, gave me a estimate of $200. I figured I would wait a while, not much to buy at a lbs for that amount. How does that figure seem to you guys.

I think you should keep that beauty. It's a nice looking bike in mint condition. It may gain in value some day.

Keep it...like you said, you can't get anything for that $200 anyways.

And if the LBS guy that buys this stuff gets run over by a bus,what do you do with the bag you are holding?

If the LBS will give you $200.00, you would guess it would be worth at least double that. Take the pixs you have and do a few listings on various free classifieds web sites. See what kind of responses you get. (Your not out anything accept a little time and effort). ;)

I think if I had to chose between $200 and the bike... well I'd take the bike :D
