Mountain Biking - i am need some opionions

hey guys, tomorrows my friend nicks b day and his parents are going to get him a new bike. My friend really wants a haro v4 but his parents want to get him a diamondback, i dont know what model. what company do you guys like better? plz give me your opionion on the haro v4, the haro company itself and the company diamondback. thx for the help guys

nice thread. i was actually thinking about getting a haro v4 or a v5 and they seem like great bikes. it has a great mix of brand parts like TruVativ, shimano, sram, wtb, sette, and more. now when i think of diamondback i think of a company dat doesnt get involved in racing and doesnt try to be inovative like haro or other bike companys. diamondback is more of a company dat just sells bikes at like a walmart they make some bikes dat are alrite but idk i just d0ont like the company haro on the other hand is a great company dat has a great history hope my advice helps u and ur friend

i totaly agree with the guy above even though i am embarresed to say i had atleast 3 diamondbacks but that is when i wasnt very educated about bikes and the companys i got all those diamondbacks from dicks sporting goods now i own a santa cruz blur and a haro .375 magnum(i want a specialized demo.) and i must say i am very empressed with my haro i am not really into xc but from wat i see the v4 is a great bike i dont think diamondbacks are terrible bikes but there not really into the sport if i was your friend i would totaly convince my parents to get me a v4 over a diamond back anyday

I don't even know what a haro v4 is but knowing the companys history there great.. and like all the other mountain bikers here say.....DIAMONDBACKS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really dont like haro and i really dont like diamondback but if i had to pick one i would go with haro.

i agree with every1 here. nobody rides diamondbacks
