I would like to think each year, I would ride more mileage than the past.. This year looks like will be my top ever- until I can retire. Hopefully early- if fate allows.. 8,800 miles.. Most of us unlike Chris- life does not allow that kind of dedication. My long work hours and likelyhood of scheduling changes hurting my mileage is reality..
So 2003 will likely be down hill from 8,800 miles.. But, I will do the best I can and also think about where the next tour will be and how much better of an upgrade I need on my touring bike. and where that new touring bike will take me..
Retirement sometime within the decade will change all that and bikes will rule.. Might even angle on a way to get my next job, off into bikes.. Retirment- money will be less important. Just some part time something relating to bikes.. That will be great.
