Just wondering on a FS, single pivot design if I need to leave any slack in the rear brake and shifter cables to allow for movement of the rear...

Looking at it, I would assume with that pivot design that the when the shock travels the rear will move closer to the front and therefore no need for slack - however, I am not certain and appreciate some advice.

I generally leave just a slight bend in it "just in case". It may not be necessary but it doesn't hurt anything.

I concur with Lowcel - - you can always shorten, but it's darned hard to lengthen later. I'll add one thing, though: with a single pivot, if you keep the cable routing right at or very near the pivot point, you usually don't have to compensate much or any at all. If the frame is well laid out (like my Yeti ASX), the cable-routing anchors (or stops) will follow that path anyway.

Yes, I would agree too, best to leave just a little slack.
