I recently picked up a set of Mavic Ksyriums. The insrtuction/reference info. states in part: "For lasting and efficient braking, we advise the use of brake pads specifially recommended of Ceramic braking surfaces." What brake pads would these be & what are best used on these rims?
Also, the instructions say: "Clean regularly the braking surfaces of your wheel with the Mavic soft stone (M40410). It will withdraw gum particles and other dirty mark of the braking surfaces of the rim." Is it worth buying this Mavic stone & does it differ from any other soft stone used to burnish metal?
