Does anyone know much about Bridgestones - specifically the "Spica" road bikes? The only info I can find online are about the RB-x & MB-x series. This bike has Suntour components, an SR stem (cranks too, I think), 27x1-1/8 tires, is made out of 4130 CrMO & has "K110113" stamped on the underside of the BB shell. It's my girlfriend's bike, and she's just curious about when it was made, if it's high or low end, etc. Any BOB's out there wanna give me a hand? Thanks.

I'd suggest doing a search on the iBob list archives at http://search.bikelist.org/ and if that doesn't tell you anything, you could join and post to that list.

I think the first two positions of the serial number decode to a November 1981 build as a 1982 model. You could probably confirm that with the component date codes:

I don't know if any online resources that go back that early. Sheldon's catalogs only go back to 1987.
