Hello friends,
I'd like to invite you all to our fourth annual race dedicated to coasties, fixies, and any other forms of human powered one gear machines you can think of. This year we are planning a time trial format. Just as exciting for the speed demons; less embarrassing for the slowpokes. Everyone crosses the finish line in glory! To wit:
Friday, May 19 (bike to work day!)
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM (6:30 sign-up!!)
Central Park - East End of 102nd Street Transverse
Come experience the event that some people are talking about!
Meet special surprise guest Dr. Mastro-Grillo!
NO GEARS (other than the one)! Bring your coaster-braked, 1 speed machine and/or your fixed gear bike and/or singlespeeder for yet another evening of gut-wrenching fun! The course is the northern loop of the Park, starting and ending in the 102nd Street transverse. Prizes! Glory! Maybe snacks! Pre-registration is preferred.
Sponsored by The Institute of Primitive Cycling Technology.
Everyone gets a patch. That's better than a poke in the eye, for which most people also get a patch.

Best wishes,
Dr. Hans
