I just got a new Bianchi SL Aluminum frame and just realized it was braze-on. The campy parts (centaur) i was going to put on had a clamp on fron derraileur. Is it possible to make a shim so that the clamp on derrailer would fit, or is that jsut not possible?
Thanks

The welded bracket is right where the band would have to go, another vote here for getting the correct front derailleur.

BTW, current Campy front derailleurs are designed so that it is VERY easy to switch arm/cage assemblies between braze on, banded, and different size banded derailleurs. Ask around if you have any Campy-riding friends; see who may be willing to do some trading.
