im trying to get a SS for my girlfriend. most likely full assembled SS or geared bike for conversion. There seem to be a million bike shops in philly. any recommendations on good places for good quality/reasonable priced frames/completes?

Check out the Bike Stable on Frankford Ave. Chaz is supposed to be great. And I've seen a lot of used bikes hanging in the window.

or firehouse at 50th & Baltimore. They sell nothing but used bikes, and are very conversion freindly and rather cheap.
