I have a 2005 XT non-RR rear derailleur (750, I think). I would like to put more spring tension on the lower pivot/cage (p-spring). It looks like there is another hole for the tail of the spring which would achieve this. On older derailleurs that I have taken apart, there is a pin that keeps the cage from spinning. It just needed to be unscrewed and the tension released, thereby allowing adjustment. It appears that this derailleur has a pressed and peened pin to keep the cage from spinning. Is there a trick to removing this pin, making the adjustment, and getting it reassembled? Or is this adjustment not available anymore?

I hope I made this clear enough to understand. Thanks for any help.
