I admit, i liked that whole "pink is cool trend" but, Pink bikes are ulgy, and so are black bikes.

There too plain.

The new trend is bright colors, and rainbow bikes.

My new frame will be painted Green, (it should look the same as the green PW Moto's green).

Multi colored paintjobs are in, so grab all those crappy spray paint cans, and ruin your frame like the rest of 'em!

Raw titanium is my personal preference. And stainless for watches and handguns. Maybe an old school nickel finish, like the original Mongoose - that would be sweet.

The new "Raw" trend is cool, like the S3 Aitken, thats pretty cool.

I am too embarrassed to post pics of my bikes current paint job.

Its horrible gold and black, but when i sprayed the black on, i got a call to go out and ride with some freinds, so i wiped the black coat with a rag, and now it looks like a gold bike that was in a fire...

Haha, ill post pics of my new frame and its paintjob when i do it.

It's just a Primo that I recovered. By todays standards I guess it is an armchair.

you need to upload that picture to a hosting site. Try www.photobucket.com then post the link it gives you after uploading.

Thanks Jerry. I sent him a PM, and we're trying to get them sorted. Once he gets them hosted, I'll clean up his links.

I'm digging my Raw As F*ck over the Pink As F*ck.

In case you're wondering why the bars are tilted so far back, let's just say that I didn't tighten my stem bolts down enough when I reassembled the bike.

I'd like it if:

I was 3' tall.

Well, that's good to know, especially considering that 3' person would have one hell of a time stradding the toptube, much less pedaling and riding it.

The only picture i have of a midget riding a BMX bike was in the Odyssey video in like Jimmy LeVans part or something, it was this little guy and he did like two things, but it was funny to watch him.

I forgot the <sarcasm> tags again...so okay...4'.

What size is your Ody rear Path tire? Did you know the Dirt Path will be available late next week in a 1.85" size??? You could match then (if you wanted to).

Why would I want a tire that narrow up front? Traction is a good thing.

Yeah, i was pissed when i got my Tioga Comp lll and it was supposed to be 2.215" but my Primo V-Monster was bigger than it, even though it was supposed to be 2.2" It looks really weird on my bike, but there both good tires.

Next time ill be gettin the Odyssey Path 1.85" in the back, and Dirt Path 2.2" front...

That was random, i know.

Re-read my previous reply...

I asked what size Path tire you run...?

Then I noted the Dirt Path will be available soon in a smaller size, so you could run a matching 1.85" version of your front tire out back.

More clear now?

Yes, but I prefer the regular Path in the back, although I have been meaning to change it since before I went to Vegas in January; I've had a rip in the right sidewall since the second day I rode it (although it's been holding up fine).

I'm definitely going to swap it out before I go to Marseilles in July, though.

I'm too anal to run different looking tires.

How's the Path in loose soil?

I'm still awaiting to hear what size Path you're running.......?

CMcMahon
05-15-06, 04:09 PM
1.95"? Whatever the smaller size is. And it's fine in loose soil; I'd rather have a street tire on the back than a knobbier tire like the Dirt Path.

1.85"

And...why (less knobbier rear)?

The one and only complaint I have about the tires I currently running is gravel getting stuck in the tread, then flying out & hitting me/my bike. The tread is hella deep, so it happens several times, every time I ride.

CMcMahon

Possibly because I ride park and street more often than I ride dirt, and possibly because when I do ride dirt, I'm not riding through poorly groomed loose dirt through the pack?

And I didn't mind running them back in the day, but I weighed like 95 lbs. Now, at 220 lbs. I prefer a larger rear.
