This is partly inspired by my own drunkeness and partly by my growing desire to tour. How many of your life memories have been created by cycling. A lot of my stories start with me getting on my bike...what about you? Crashes...accidents...weird people...good races...

I quit my first job out of college to be a bike messenger. Less pay, no insurance, bad conditions, chance of death = a lot higher than sitting in a swivel chair. But it was what I was more passionate about than my "work". I doubt that for the rest of my life, I'll be able to make a better decision.

i probably have had a damn good time on my bike, and met some fantastic amazing people (*waving* hi fantastic people!)

but alot of it is also lost in the fog of sparks and highlife. thank goodness flickr usually helps to fill in some of the blanks...
