I am trying to design a kind of odd frame and I could use some advice. The idea is a sort of fixed gear CX type bike that has clearance for 29" tires. I've been messing around with bikecad a lot and I have my current scheme attached. Anyone see any obvious problems with it? thanks for any aid.

yes - it's too big for me.
Looks nice, perhaps a little too much drop in the bars for comfortable off-roading.

Interesting design. Like the previous poster the handlebars seem too low for off road use and even road use realy unless you ride a road bike like it. From a road bike point of view 74 mm of trail makes for very slow steering, although I suppose its more common for off road bikes. You could think about using more rake.

If you added some length to the head tube you could raise the handle bars to a more comfortable height.
Also Nitto makes a couple of extra long stems that you can use to get the bars up.

brakes? are you only going to run 29 tires on there, or are you planning on swapping back and forth.
