I have three and paid various amounts - 40 to 70 bucks - you can get them on line - try Tandems East or R & E cycles in Seattle - I have also bought them on Ebay - just a fyi they don't fit all bikes

It's a great addition to any touring bike where it can be mounted. Really comes in handy as a type of portable work stand when you're on the road to. I've been using them for a long time, and love it.

Gag and I do mean gag. $40 and $50 for a kick stand. You want one go by the local Salvation Army store and pay $5 or $10 for a bike with a kickstand and use that one. If you were in my area I would just give you the one off of the wallymart bike I found dumped on the road side.

If you have a loaded touring bike - a pointed stick wedged behind your seat or at the rear drops will do the same thing for a lot less money and weight. The construction zone markers that most state highway depts use are perfect sized - but they probably don't like you "borrowing" them.
The stick is strapped on top in the photo. Easy to get to - plus you can use it against dogs if necessary. Low tech - low cost. Guess of dimensions - 2" x 1" x 30"
