I think I'm going to add a set of these to the inner flats of my riser bars:

From this advancement, I will gain another hand position, some hill-descending speed, and the goofiest-looking bar setup ever.

These on the ends of the bars would actually create something I wish existed- dirt drops with rise. Again, totally dorky looking.

Yee haw. I wonder if they run Linux?

(sorry, wrong forum)

+1 for the utility factor.

I've seen the same idea, only more curvy. They look exactly like a second set of drops.

better be some perfect welds, but more positions is always good, specially on a long haul.

be careful not to rip yer kneecaps off if you go into a sprint suddenly

Edit: they are USCF legal, whereas aerobars aren't

For sure- I think I'm going to splash red paint on the ends and nick up the powdercoat with a chain a little before mounting. That ought to keep people out of my way! ;)

Your bars are non-os specific. Most handlebar attachments (such as spedometers) run a proprietary OS, but you can get a linux powered horn (http://svana.org/sjh/images/various/riding/thomson_penguin_etc.jpg)

I'm sure you know this already, but the diameter of risers isn't the same as the diameter of drops
(and i'm not just talking clamp diameter here)

so you might need a 1/16" shim to get these to work....
