I was up on the trails yesterday and saw something very cool. A guy have put his dirtbike fork, and his front rotor on his mtb. He said he had learned about doing that kind of stuff in high school. Has anyone else seen this.

Anyone who has a Monster T has put a dirtbike fork on their bike. If you'd call it a 'problem,' the biggest problem I'd see is the weight. Stanchions on most M/C forks are steel. Tho' something like an XR or KX 80 fork may be darned close to a big bike fork.

Back when we had regular winter snow races around here, I toyed with going one step further and getting an old RM 100 frame and welding a bottom bracket shell into it for a snow rig :D

Has he only had monster t's?...I had one and the weight between it and my other marzocchis, boxxer or slider was HUGE...very noticable and I am a 6'5 ex-football player. I think he was trying to convince himself it was a good idea, if he claims to not notice the weight.
