did you change it joe? it is at 1440 minutes from the time you post, but if you wanted to delete your post you could not if it was after this time... (which I tried to do once)

anyhow just curious.

Yes, you have 1440 minutes (24 hrs) to edit a post, or delete it. I did this, due to a few members editing there posts if somebody did not agree with there comments... :)

Yes, you have 1440 minutes (24 hrs) to edit a post, or delete it.Is that time limit still there? I ask because someone just fixed their original post based on a reply that I made, and then they replied that their original post was correct all along.

Also, can we turn on the following option (which is mentioned in the editing FAQ):After you have made your modifications, a note may appear, which notifies other users that you have edited your post.

I like the current edit/delete feature as I tend to post comments that I find a few hours or even days later, dumb or stupid. I find myself editing or deleting my posts quite frequently. :)

That's why I like to quote the person when I reply.

And yeah, I agree that posts that are edited should have a notice appended to the bottom that says they were edited.
