The little LBS near me ( who made fun of me for not having a rear brake on a fixed gear, this from a guy who has been riding fixed for 30 years) has a few superbe pro track cogs for $15 each. Are they worth it? Should i buy them all and ebay them? It seems cheap if they are decent cogs. I figure he's had them under the counter for at least 10 years and never changed the price.

I don't know if it'd be worth it to try and flip them on ebay mostly because I don't know what they go for, but I'd certainly stock up for myself at that price.

I kinda though about that too. Are they good cogs. I know most of the superbe pro is well thought of, i just don't know anything about their cogs and the ol' interweb didn't help much.

I've never used one, but I fondled one once, and it sure felt well made. Suntour Superbe stuff is all good as far as I know, and for $15 it's hard to get even a decent cog let alone an excellent one.

12T cogs will be worth lots, as suntour was the only one to ever make them

not quite true.
SOMA makes them
and I think Campy did too.

Don't buy them all and ebay them, that's silly and greedy, and you probably wouldn't make much anyway. Just buy what you need and use them. They aren't that much better/worse than dura ace cogs, which cost about the same(maybe a little more, bensbike has them for eighteen bucks).

And Suntour was not the only company to make 12t cogs. I have a 12t dura ace cog to prove it, 10 pitch at that.

If you really want to make several bucks for each one you eBay, go for it. Seems like you shold have better things to spend your time on...
