I am at a crossroads right now where I have the opportunity to bike up a track bike or a road bike for the same amount of money.
The new track bike uses some of my old parts, and a lot of new ones. The new road bike is completely new and I'm getting it through my team discount.
Track bike:
Bianchi Pista Concept frame
Dura-ace track crankset
Phils laced with black spokes to black non-machined deep-vs
b123s
thomson seatpost
thomson mtb stem flipped
selle italia slr saddle
Road bike:
Flyte SRS-2 with Ultegra ten speed
as spec'd in their ultegra online deal
http://www.flyte1.com/soar/janette/store/srs2_bike.asp
right now I have crankset, bars, front wheel, rear rim, bb, and saddle for the track bike so I'd have to buy the frame, stem, seatpost, and rear hub. The road bike I'd get for completely new with a little bit of a discount. I have neither a road bike nor a full track bike right now. What do you think I should go for??
