I did ride the age of the new secretary in my office. If I share this news with her, will she:

a) be impressed
b) run screaming from the room
c) sue me for sexual harrassment
d) other

Your thoughts please.

Age and women are never a good mix. Since it wasn't your age, am assuming she is much younger therefore probably wouldn'y understand and certainly wouldn't be impressed. Having said that you could just lay the miles out there and see if she makes any connection. I am just starting to get use to dealing with coworkers who are the same age as my oldest.

Take a letter. She may be impressed that you ride 23 miles at a time.

Blackberry's secretary (see below) can already ride her age. She won't be that impressed, I'm afraid. :D

Shoot, my last boss (of 10 years) wasn't much older than my oldest. Everyone who walked into our office would assume that she was my secretary. Salespeople would usually look at me when making their pitch--even after meeting her and knowing that she was the department head. Best boss I ever had too.

So Blackberry, I wouldn't mention anything about your performance. She might be your boss someday and expect it.

Unless--- is Blackberry leading us on? Has his "new secretary" just celebrated her 60th! In which case he should still just mention the miles and not her age.

c) sue me for sexual harassment.... but only if she can show that it is a persistent pattern.... in which case you are probably getting in a lot of miles and would rather be riding than working anyway.

I'd like to ride something, but I'd better stop, before Koffee throws me the hell out of this bar.

Gary, is that a picture of your ex-wife after you told her you'd chosen road biking over her. Dam, but that got you 1 Elitist Bustard point. Sheesh, like, how many of us wear thongs under our cycling shorts. I can see why you dumped her.....those thongs would have had to come off if she really wanted to ride.

***Yes, the site is misbehaving again for me, too. Apparently Joe shut it down for a short time yesterday or the day before to take wrench to it.

And let's not forget -- NO HELMET! :D
