i bought a diamondback bmx from a market and i am trying to figure out the year and model of this bike serial number starts with kw1 then some numbers un readable but the last four are 4855 the rims are unusual as the spokes twist around each other the stickers are the type that change colors (holographic type) the head stem sticker has a grey colored snake the bike is in very good condition they handle bars are black with gt stamped on them also bottom bar of frame comes out straight from the peddles all most equal to the peddle arms then bends up to the head stem

Klein, did you read the post? He wants to know what bike he purchased...

To answer your question, you may want to call Diamond Back directly, they should be-able to tell you the make / model / year with a partial SN.

[COLOR=Red][B] Hello All, Im Writing In Retrospect For My Brother. He Recently Aquired A Old DiamondBack II Frame From A Friend, And Was Curious As To What Year And Model Type It Is. Its a Silver Frame With What Looks To Be The Original Reflective Stickers Still On It That Read Diamondback II On It. As Well As What Looks To Be The Original Neck Plate With The DiamondBack Snake.The Serial Numbers Are Located On The Rear Of The Frame, On The Right I Believe Possibly The Left Side Of The Rear Tire Mount. And Read 2X1361 And Is Surrounded By What Appears To Be Cresent Moons, Or Other Parts Of The Serial Number. If Anyone Has Any Information As To The Year, And Make Of This Frame We Would Apreciate It. I Have A Digital Camera If Further Detail And Description Is Needed Please Ask And I Will Take And Submit A Photo Of The Frame.
