Alright. Sometime back, I fell and my back brake lever released itself. I have Hayes HFX-9's and there is a little machanism that when you fall, it releases itself. But now if I hit a ramp or something like that, the brake lever flys out of place and I have to put it back into the little mechanism. It is like loose. Is there any way to prevent the lever from falling out. Thanks.

the levers are not seized. The move fine but when I hot something like a ramp they fall out of the little cylinder that they are in.

Did you lose part of the lever pin? The pin consists two pieces: one is male threaded and one is female threaded; one goes in from the bottom and one goes in from the top.
Checking the parts diagram (http://www.hayesdiscbrake.com/pdf/45-14550DEnglishForWeb.pdf) might help you narrow down the problem.
