Several of the high end jitenshaya (bike shops) in Japan have the basic KHS folders in the showroom, but I've never seen one on the street, and I've never seen the exotic models like the F20-RAC in a store.

It looks just like a Dahon. The TT style handlebars, and the look of the frame. Take a look at F18-R, and you can tell somebody has licensed from somebody else.

Chop,
I was very interested in bringing in a KHS folder like this (not sure of the model now). It would retail here for about 1K. I saw it at Interbike in Las Vegas and the company President, a most affable guy, assured me that I could import in numbers as small as one. I prompted lost interest when I learned that bike's top recommended rider weight was equivalent to 165 lbs. In our ever-increasing fat society ,a bike should be rated to at least 230lbs to merit going on our showroom floor.
As many of your KHS USA imports only 2 or 3 folders and no higher end products. Folders are just not popular here.
