Wow. What a disaster. The season finale was a very revealing as to the problems of modern ownership and management...the denials of a failing business, and the futile attempts at cover-ups and misplaced responsibility.

The Cooke family was riveting in their stubborness and gall. The cowboys were honorable in contrast, if lacking in overall work ethic. But hey, when you have poor leadership, it trickles down to those who are led, once their morale is shattered. Good stuff.

I tried watching it, couldn't stand it. What I understood as the premise, live life like you WERE on a ranch in 1867. The "cast" obviously forgot the premise and their history lessons. The Ranch Owner was the HMFIC, his word would have never been doubted or questioned. When the Comanches showed up, yeah the women would have been told to hide if they everyone was dead already. And Pizza, oh yeah right I forgot Pizza Hut started back then..not.
