Hi guys,

I bought a MC Kryptonite lock for my Dahon Helios P8. I was wondering if anyone else had one for their bike as well. Problem is that the lock has a metal tab that is supposed to fit into a holder that attaches to your seatpost. The lock is so heavy (almost 4 lbs.) that the weight is stressing this carrier because it is held in by a very small piece of flimsy plastic. I called Kryptonite and they said that the carrier is not meant for this lock for exactly this reason. Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone come up with any solutions for attaching the lock to my bike without a carrier that is relatively hassle free? Thanks, guys.

I hang my lock off my handlebars or put it in my rucksack when travelling, the upside being it doesn't make the bike look so cluttered, the downside being I have to remember to pack it.
