You either got those used from a friend, or you had sex with the woman at the bike shop and she gave you an amazingly good deal.
well i did get them from a friend
but how did you know about the woman at the bike shop?

you could get some very very nice profile cranks but they will take you back $150. povery POW are ok and there 80 bucks.eastern pros are nice and they cost like 130. i would really absolty go with the profiles; they are light very durable, and will last you a good while

Titanium demand is going through the roof because the aerospace industry is switching from using "aircraft aluminum" to Titanium for many plane parts. It's lighter and stronger and hence more economical to fly. With rising jet fuel prices, many airlines are upgrading.
So like your teacher says (or used to anyway), "demand goes up, price goes up".

well since you do alot of urban riding, I would just get a better bike. GT Mach 1's arent designed for urban riding.
