Well went for a ride today 01-02-03. Started off with a flat tire from a wire. Replaced that at the house before I left. Kevlar belt did not stop the wire. Put a Mr. Tuffy liner in as well. Got to leave about 5:00 PM. Cloudy, misting, and wet roads when I left with a temperature around 40 F. Got dark so I had to use the light. Saw a few snow flakes dance thru the headlight. All the cagers were very polite and acted as if they could easily see me. About 15 minutes from home, the headlight went out so I had to use the small handlebar light to get the rest of the way home. Got into some light fog and the headlight played beautiful strings of light thru the fog. It almost looked like I was looking thru bars into the fog. Saw several deer just stand and look at me as I rode by on the road. Came home to a nice warm house, a light dinner. What a wonderful ride. Life was not good today but GREAT.
