Mountain Biking - how do you post pictures ?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I tried to attach a photo & the file is too big by 71KB - how do you get yr photos to be under 100KB ???
I either take the picture on a low res. or run it through Photoshop or Printmaster and I can compress the photo size.
You can also create a free account and then upload your picture to Photo Bucket (www.photobucket.com). Then just use them for you hosting. Much easier than posting them here.
I use Miicrosoft Paint...free with windows. Open MS-Paint (start button, then "Programs">"Accessories">"Paint", then open the picture file. Then from the menu bar, select "image">"stretch/skew", then resize both height and width to 90% of what they were (or whatever amount you want). Then save in jpeg format, which is more compact than many other formats. In fact if it's not a jpeg ("filename.jpg") to begin with, just saving it in that format may be all you need to do.
