Commuting - I want this where I work...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Met a guy on my way home last week and he mentioned an incentive program at OHSU, his employer.
I looked it up and found this: http://www.ohsu.edu/bike

Ha! I work there. :D It's a really cool thing and I'm very glad we have it. I kinda wish all of us Marquam Hill bike commuters would get together in person some time though.

Well, good. Then you can satisfy my remaining curiosity -- how many punches needed for the check?

35 and only works Mon-Fri, so it takes ~ 2 months :(

Still, $150 a year should more than pay for your absolute essentials (tires, lube, chain, the occasional worn out shorts/jersey)
Beats a poke in the eye.

They have a rideshare program where I work. If you car pool, take alternative transportation, walk, or ride your bike they give you $2 a day.
Works out pretty well for me with bike commuting. I have gone from tanking up the Jeep 2.5 times a month at about $50 a go, to filling up once or less and having it paid for by my ride share funds.
Free gas = good :)
