I went to my daughter's high school graduation dinner tonight. After polishing off my dinner, I started asking other people for the left over broccoli, rolls...I even stole half of my 5 year-old daughter's chicken thigh.

At the same time, I noticed people eating their cake, but leaving major portions of their meals untouched (even drinking some sort of Cool-Aid stuff.)

Without being overly judgemental, I have to say that I enjoyed, even overdid my acting part in devouring as much food as possible. I knew I would not gain any weight. Everyone else was probably struggling to avoid calories, finally allowing themselves "permission" to eat junk to make up for their empty
cravings.

Or maybe I made all this up in my head to justify eating like a pig.
Well, I still know I won't gain any weight. Gosh, I like that. Does that make me "bad?"

It's a laugh when people say, "Oh, you're so lucky. You can eat anything and not gain weight." It's not luck, man. I earn those brownies.

Well, Pete, food mooching at those kind of public functions is hmm, how shall I say... "not cool".

Ya, some of the kids were probably glad to get rid of their broccoli and get right to the cake, but they probably told their parents about it later, "that man ate my food, mom"!

You may have swell looking biker legs, but still won't get invited to parties if you don't groove right with the groovesters.

Concerning brocolli (how do you spell it anyway?), I have a stuffed brocolli doll in my office with the note "I am bike fuel" pinned to it.

Ya, I know, I know...I really feel bad!

I just hate to see all these really overweight people punishing themselves so hard. I want them to see what eatin's s'posed to be like, like God made it. Food to mouth, press, repeat, grin big.
