Anyone ride the new one yet? I'm getting it for my birthday in a few days, and although it's a little late, what do you think about it?

I know the specs and all (I've been looking into the bike for a while.. since before the newer one came out), I just never had the oppurtunity to ride one.

I finally get my bike today (tomorrow is my 15th birthday). It's so much fun, especially since I have a school right behind my house, so I can find some nice spots over there. So far, I can bunnyhop small curbs and stuff, but right now all I'm concerned about is having fun, although I really dislike the pedals (S&M 101's), and I think the stock handlebars aren't wide enough. The pedals already have a chip on each side of them, and they don't grip so well. I know it's not my shoes, because I have the Edwin's. I think they need to be replaced soon before I break them, and just because I don't like them. Overall, I'm happy with the Fit though, and I can't wait to get out and ride on Mother's Day/my birthday.

Congrats, and happy birthday.

You'll probably get used to the pedals, but if not Odyssey Jim C.'s are great.
