Watch the cyclist go through the crosswalk and then keep your eye on the right side of the screen...

Should be named "America's luckiest idiot driver". I can't believe he made it. And hardly anyone batted an eyelash.

The black SUV hit him actually. Frankly I think those pedestrians were in more danger then a cyclist.

Not bad driving/good reflex actions by the driver of the black SUV . You normally would not expect some tool to run a light like that.

Incredible. The cyclist would have been killed because he the motorist was doing more than 35 mph. I think he skid after doing that stunt but it just goes to show you the poor driving on todays roads.

Reminds me of that old video game, Frogger, where you had to make the frog go across the road without getting squished. What a buffoon!

Crazy idiot, hope they busted him, threw him in jail and permanently revoked his licence...

You can see the front of the black SUV dip as he jabs on his brakes. I think it was the back of the white car in the next lane that was hit.

Be nice folks. Try a little empathy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empathy). Once the McGriddles are gone at 11:00 am, they're GONE.

Um, empathy for what? I hope he crashes into an invisible wall destroying himself and only himself.

 It was tongue in cheek. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humour) Note the car was travelling towards the McDonalds.

The cyclists was way ahead of the vehicle. He was well past the intersecrtion when the car went through.

Could be...something just does not look right about that video. Looks a little choppy, likes it's been manipulated.

I've seen quite a few of such types of videos. Most of the time it involves the deaths of bystanders, usually other passengers/drivers and/or pedestrians. I usually don't cross busy roads w/o looking quite ahead to see what's about to cross my path...

Ya well, I guess I was just as lucky. I was well clear of the intersection too.

Was that little turd that ran the red in a Honda?? Why is it ALWAYS the Honda drivers that do stuff like that? I almost got creamed last week by a little turd in his Honda - he had the boom jacked up and was doing something inside the car (cell phone?) that totally absorbed his microsecond-long attention span. In any case, I just got out of his way... Hondas are great cars but if they'd arbitrarily execute all Honda drivers, the roads would be MUCH safer! SUV drivers don't hold a candle to Honda drivers in the "stupidity" category.

Acura's too. Acura is made by Honda so it makes sense. I see lots of ******* in hondas. The most recent being a black Integra full of teens that rear ended a Caravan with a mom, an 8 yr old and an infant, the acura was doing about 20 and hit the Caravan that was stopped. My wife hung up on the pizza place and called 911, the car turned out to be stolen, but the teens were minors so they didn't get much of a punishment.
