My PowerTap pro is a little over a year old, not very many miles on it. One saturday it was fine and then the next weekend it stopped working almost completely. All i get is a ridiculous speed readout like 40-50 miles per hour when barely moving. There is no "dot" in the top left that confirms connectivity to the hub. Has anyone seen this? I am thinking the mount/cable went bad. I was putting in a trunk of a car with the wheels off and i may have tugged on the cable too hard or something. I figure i will try and replace the batteries in the hub first and then the computer before dropping 70 odd dollars for a new mount/harness.
I am getting no power/time/cadence etc. Just a crazy speed reading.
