Found the site last week, lurked for a while, and signed up yesterday. I live near Invermere BC, and work at Panorama Mountain Village as an avalanche technician on the ski hill. During the summers I do trail/sign/building maintenance as well as ski patrol administrative stuff, and I also have a side business building tube-powered guitar amps.
My hometown is near the headwaters of the Columbia river, nestled between the Rocky Mountains to the east and the Purcells to the west. There's a TON of great riding here, both offroad and pavement.
Lately, I've been jonesing for my first road bike. My budget is limited, so for the meantime I'll try some skinny slicks on my late '90s Norco Nitro. So far, this forum has been a *great* resource. Thanks, all!:D
