Foo - Does anyone actually visit threads on the second page of the forum?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Yes. I only hit BF once or twice a day and a lot of interesting threads drop off of the first few pages before I can get back. Like this one I found on page 5.
no.... why would anyone do such an insane thing... i mean... it's insane!
Not much in Foo, but in Road Cycling, all the time! It's not unusual for threads with new posts to stretch well into the second page when I check in the morning. And if I'm out for a weekend, going to page 3 or 4 to catch up on new posts isn't unheard of.

I was debating whether to answer this:
a) You say that like it's a bad thing. *evil grin*
or
b) Now isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

I'll usually go to the last page. before i go to the second page. and I usually only go to the last page because Opera is so ****ing stupid and has random keystrokes that get stuck and then do random crap like close down, minimize to tray and navigate to random websites

50 threads per page for me, and thats it.
Once a thread reaches page 2, I consider it dead, unless somebody revives it.

It usually happens when somebody actually uses the Search function. They'll pull up a three year old thread on bar tape and answer the OP who hasn't been around since the first post.
I just recalled the "help for the socially inept" thread because jschen left us hanging. He better have asked that girl out.
