I know there are the bmx classes like street, vert, flatland and so on, but what do they all mean?!?

Street=riding on the street, tricking off ledges, benches, stairs and all that.
Vert=Half pipes, big ramps.
park=skate parks

And I dont really know how to explain flatland, so I'll let somebody else explain it.

Flatland is usually rolling along and doing a crapload of tricks where both wheels rarely, if ever, leave the ground - usually involving pegs and sometimes brakes.

And there's dirt, which is.. uh, riding on dirt :)
Jumps, rollers, berms, etc,

Dirt = trails, Trails = dirt

Not that it matters but:
Vert= halfpipe
Street=Handrails, ledges, gaps of some sort
Park= Skateparks
Dirt=Trails, dirt jumps and such...
Flatland=Riding on the flat ground doing tricks without ramps, like hang fives, and megaspins (i dont know any other flatland tricks)
