I only go for the natural old-fashioned style. No added partially-hydrogenated vegetable-oils or sugars allowed...
I'm allergic to peanuts... :(
Creamy, by the spoonfull. Why impair the taste with bread & jelly?

Fresh ground from one of those grinding machines with the hopper on top filled with peanuts. It comes out with tiny bits but its not "chunky". Sometimes I'll go for the fresh ground Almond or Cashew butter.

Theres a brandsold here called Teddie, thats the real stuff. I think I remember reading somewhere that westcoasters tend to prefer chunky over creamy, the opposite for those in the East

Creamy, no pulp. I can tolerate crunchy peanut butter MUCH more easily than pulp-ridden OJ though. *barf*

Creamy. And in odd combinations, including savoury as well as sweet ingredients. On a sandwich with mayo, with crisp bacon, or jalapeno...

True peanutbutter fanatics, prefer creamy. I've been analyzing this for years now.
Natural is best for flavor, but it's too chunky...needs to be ground so that all trace of nuts are gone.

I'm allergic to peanuts... :(
My daughter too..of all allergies peanuts is one that chances and very slim to over grow and one that is very high risk to have. I feel your pain.. it's hard enough going through life withought having to worry that something you put in your mouth could kill you or something others put in thier mouth or touch could kill you after touching you. It's a daily battle, and it's hard to put my daughter out there everyday knowing that it is an everyday risk..:(

Why compain about peanuts in your sammich when you have a paste made of peanuts already in there?
Seriously....that's like holding the knife but claiming you didn't stab the teletubbies....not that there's anything wrong with stabbing teletubbies....just an example.... :D

Anyone here like soynut butter? Tastes almost exactly like peanut butter but supposedly has more digestible protein. It costs about twice as much though (though not as much as almond, cashew, macadamia, etc butter).
My problem with any of them (especially the fresh ground creamy stuff...love that "grainy" smooth texture) is that once I break the seal on a jar that sucker is gone in about 24 hours, whether I'm riding or not. Nuts are seriously dense in calories.
